This section has been carefully designed to provide complete transparency and address any questions you may have before booking.
By confirming any event with Unique Picnics, you acknowledge and agree to all of our service terms and conditions.
We deeply appreciate your trust and support — it plays a vital role in the continued growth of our company.
How it works?
Our design and logistics team will ensure that your setup is fully prepared before your arrival at the pre-agreed time and location.
Approximately 30 minutes prior to your start time, we will send you the exact real-time pinned location of your installation.
Please note:
If your event takes place in a public park or open space, the setup location will be selected based on space availability at the time of installation, always prioritizing the best view and optimal comfort for you and your guests.
Once you arrive, you and your party will be free to enjoy the experience to the fullest during your reserved time.
At the end of your session, our team will return discreetly and promptly to perform the cleanup immediately after the scheduled time concludes.
It’s important to understand that you and your guests assume full responsibility for all decorative items and materials provided by Unique Picnics, from the moment of arrival until the end of the reserved time.
As many of our décor elements are delicate and include glass items, we kindly ask that they be handled with care and respect, as if they were your own belongings.
Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Your reservation must be secured with a 30% deposit of the total service value. The remaining balance must be paid in full 48 hours prior to your scheduled event date.
You may cancel your event up to 8 days in advance of the scheduled date.
Please note that the deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable, but we will gladly allow you to reschedule your event for another available date within the next 3 months from the original date, should you wish to host your experience at a later time.
Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows:
Cancellations made on the same day of the event, as well as no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the total investment.
The security deposit, reserved exclusively to cover unforeseen damages, will be the only refundable portion, processed within 24 hours after the event.
Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit ranging from $100 to $200 (depending on the number of guests) will be added to your total service amount.
This deposit is 100% refundable within 24 hours after your event, once we have confirmed that all items have been returned in full and in the same condition in which they were delivered.
Credit & Debit Card Payments:
All credit or debit card payments are subject to an additional 3.5% processing fee.
Weather Conditions:
If the weather does not cooperate, Unique Picnics will be delighted to arrange a beautiful indoor picnic setup at your home or any covered area you provide.
If you prefer, we will gladly reschedule your event for another available date.
Scheduled Time
Please be mindful of time. This is a timed event, and additional time may be purchased through our add-on options.
Travel Fees:
The transportation fee for Long Island City and Astoria Park locations is $60.
For Central Park, an additional $90 travel fee applies.
For all other locations, please provide the ZIP code so we can calculate the applicable transportation cost.
Guest Count & Rescheduling Policy
At the time of booking, the client confirms the total number of guests to be served.
This figure is used to organize all logistics, material purchases, and event planning.
For this reason, it is not possible to reduce the number of guests once the reservation has been confirmed and paid, as all resources are acquired and prepared in advance for that specific number of attendees.
If you wish to increase the number of guests, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance so that we can verify availability.
In such cases, the updated quote will reflect the new number of attendees
Alcohol Consumption Policy
Unique Picnics strictly adheres to the laws and regulations of New York City and the surrounding areas regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public spaces.
Therefore, if your picnic takes place in a public park or any open-access area, please note that the serving or consumption of alcohol is not permitted during the setup.
It is essential to understand that Unique Picnics assumes no legal or financial responsibility for any fines, penalties, or incidents resulting from a client’s failure to comply with local laws.
If your event is hosted at a private residence (your home, backyard, or a designated private venue), we will be happy to accommodate your alcohol service requests accordingly.
Terms & Conditions
Unique Picnics shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or accident that may occur during your reservation.
Participation in this activity is at your own risk.
By booking, you agree to waive any right to pursue claims against Unique Picnics for personal injury or property damage.
In the event that medical care or treatment is required, you agree to be financially responsible for any and all related costs.
